POPTARTS....Really?

I recently got into a somewhat heated argument about Kellogg's Pop-Tarts - a well known pastry advertised as a "breakfast" food. Someone stated that they used too eat Pop-Tarts every morning for breakfast before school! Even worse, they didn't really see a problem with that! The problem is, they are one of millions that eat this food for breakfast!

Here is what is wrong with that.....

Frosted Strawberry Pop-Tarts (2 pastries)
400 Calories
10g fat
74g carbohydrates (with 34g of that being refined white sugar) = equal to about 8.5 packets of sugar
4g protein
First three ingredients on the label: Enriched Flour, CORN SYRUP, and HIGH FRUCTOSE CORN SYRUP

Not such an awesome breakfast food. But, as a desert, heck yeah!! Pop-Tarts are perfect!!!! Try to stick to just one though:)
